This policy explains what data INKANU Code collects, why, and how it is handled.
Data we collect
Account data. When you create an account, your email address and password are stored by Supabase, our authentication provider. We never see or store your password ourselves.
Personal details you enter. To create your INKANU Code reading, you provide your name, mother's name, and birth date, time, and place when you create your account. These details are stored with your account (hosted by Supabase) so that your reading can be created and updated. To create the reading, our server calculates the values it needs from your birth data, looks up your place of birth on OpenStreetMap (Nominatim), which receives only the name of the place, and forwards your details to Anthropic's Claude API to write your reading.
Content you create. Your Deep Analysis results, journal entries, chat conversations, affirmations, favorites, and activity history are stored locally on your device only. We do not upload or store this content on our servers or in any database.
Chat messages. Messages you send in Pattern Chat are sent to our server and forwarded to Anthropic's Claude API to generate a reply. We do not keep a copy of these messages on our servers.
Website data. If you create your account on this website, we collect your email address and password (via Supabase) to set up that account. See our Cookie Policy for what the website itself stores in your browser.
Who we share data with
Supabase: authentication (account creation, login, sessions).
Anthropic (Claude API): generates your Deep Analysis, chat replies, and affirmations from the details described above.
Apple: app distribution and, if used, in-app purchases.
Expo: the infrastructure used to build and deliver app updates.
PayPal: if you subscribe through this website, PayPal processes your payment. We do not store your card details ourselves.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use advertising or third-party analytics/tracking SDKs today. If that changes, we will update this policy first.
Your choices
You can delete individual journal entries, chat sessions, and favorites at any time from within the app.
Delete Account (in the app's Profile) permanently deletes your Supabase account and wipes all app data stored on your device. This cannot be undone.
To request a copy of your data, ask a question about this policy, or request deletion we can't handle in-app, contact support@inkanu.store.
Children
INKANU Code is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we materially change how INKANU Code handles your data, we will update this document and change the effective date above.
